Abstract

Most of bilateral cleft lip and palate patients suffered from repeated secondary revision surgery due to the severe lip and nasal deformity. Surgical techniques for bilateral cleft lip were evolved from repair of the unilateral cleft lip. But, the repair of bilateral complete cleft lip and nasal deformity is still challenging. Unfortunately, in developing countries, it is not rare for patients to present as adolescents or adults with unrepaired cleft lip. These patients need esthetic and functional reconstruction of their deformities so that they might be better accepted as a normal person by the social members. In this paper, a one-stage surgery to reconstruct bilateral cleft lip and nose deformities is present.
